I have a beautiful wife (Katie), and four kids. In my freetime I enjoy all kinds of IPA, golfing, watching sports, and being outside.
Co-Owner, Interior Designer
For those that know me, they know I've always had a passion for reconfiguring furniture in rooms and making spaces visually appealing. My parents can attest to how many times I repainted or re-decorated my room growing up because I loved the creativity of breathing new life into my space! My passion for all things home translated into a degree in Interior Design from Hawkeye Community College back in 2010. My hobbies are- working with my best friend/husband, Luke, my four lovely children- Lane (11), Leo (9), Lincoln (8), and Lewis (2), I also love taking walks in my neighborhood, daydreaming about renovating any and all historical homes in Cedar Falls, creative writing/journaling, and my Thursday morning Panera girls.
Hello, my name is Marcus! I grew up in the small town of Panora, IA on the west side of the state. I completed a Bachelor’s degree at UNI in 2019 and have continued to live in the Cedar Valley since college. What I enjoy most about the remodel industry and PCD is the ability to learn so many new things! I love getting to see the way things were built before we get into a project and the updates that we are able to do. There is always something to learn and grow in. I also enjoy seeing a client’s face light up throughout the process! For leisure activities I enjoy anything outdoors, from disc golfing to camping and hiking, and spending time with my wife. My favorite food is sushi and I love to chat about it too!
